La Cañada Flintridge has been known for its resistance to new housing developments, but now it is facing a lawsuit for violating state housing laws. The lawsuit alleges that the city has failed to provide enough affordable housing and has made it difficult for developers to build new homes. The city council has responded by saying that they are working on a plan to increase affordable housing in the area.
