The Lotus Festival returns to the newly renovated Echo Park Lake this Saturday through Sunday!
The 34th festival, this year the host country is the Philippines. If you've never been to the Lotus Festival, this is a must-do activity for the family.
Come say hi! I'll be manning the Echo Park Chamber of Commerce booth this weekend alongside the Echo Park Improvement Association.
There's also kind of a pre-party on Friday night hosted by Councilmember Mitch O'Farrell. Echo Park Night at the Lotus Festival is a free event from 6-9pm on Friday, July 11. Musical entertainment provided by Robert Berryman/African Cowboy and Walter Davis and Friends. The evening will premiere the Echo Park City Symphony, and a special film by the Echo Park Film Center celebrating 24 hours in the "life" of Echo Park.
