Hamilton House on West Court Street was built in 1898. This two-story, 2,400 square foot (including attic studio) Victorian includes large formal dining, sunny living room, open kitchen, porch, step-down office, three bedrooms, reading room, a vanity bath, a half bath and a large studio. It sits on a 6,020 square foot county certified farm with 23 trees (15 of them fruit-bearing). There are five raised bed vegetable gardens, a nursery patio, compost stations and more.

An organic restoration—reclaimed lumber, concrete & fixtures were all incorporated in construction. “Green” features include gray water plumbing, rain harvesting systems, solar-powered ventilation, tankless water heater and drought-tolerant landscaping.
